I just got the appliance, can you explain how I make it work?
It’s quite easy – first slide it out of the box and discard all the bags – as they may be a safety hazard for small children or pets. Then, place the appliance on the counter. The box includes the following: a Bibo appliance, 3 sample packs of cocktail mixes, the plug, a cocktail shaker and shot glass (all in one). There is also an owner’s manual which we recommend that you read. The drip tray is taped down to keep it safe during shipping so you need to remove the tape so that is now easily removed for washing. Once you have all these pieces out, we recommend that you rinse out the water reservoir. Then, fill it with cold water. Before you put the water reservoir on the machine, plug the plug in the machine. The engineers at Bibo tucked the plug insert under the machine so that the machine fits nicely up against your kitchen backsplash. Once you plug it in, place the water reservoir back onto the appliance where you removed it from. It should slide gently into place. Then, get a glass, add 4 – 5 ice cubes and select a cocktail mix. Once you do that it will tell you which type of alcohol to add (either vodka, rum or tequila). The gift set comes with a shot glass and we recommend one shot – there is a yellow line that shows you how much to pour into the shot glass. Dump that into your glass with ice already on the drip tray. Put the pouch, arrow side facing down and color code facing forward (the color code is a big square color). The machine reads this and it adds the exact amount of water to ensure your drink is perfect. Pull the handle down and hit mix. Wait 20 seconds. It takes that long for the drink to completely pour into the glass.
Instead of using the Bibo machine, couldn’t I just open the cocktail pouch myself and add liquor right to a glass? What is the purpose of the machine?
Bibo uses smart technology. There is a unique code on each pouch –the machine reads the code and then pours the precise amount of water to make a scientifically perfect drink, every time. Each pouch has a different code and the mixologists have come up with the delicious formulas. No measuring, no mess!

How does the Bibo dispenser open the pouches?
The Bibo dispenser uses a cutting blade that extends and retracts from the cutter housing into the bottom of the pouches. The proprietary design of the pouches allows for the liquid to evacuate fully. The cutting blade is very sharp. Please read all instruction labels to avoid any injury that could be caused by the cutting blade.
How big is the Bibo appliance? Will it fit on my counter and under my cabinets?
As comparison, it is about 25% smaller than a Keurig coffee brewer in width and about the same height, so it will fit easily under your counter. It was designed with the plug connector under the device; this allows the device to fit nice and snug up against the back wall freeing up kitchen counter space.
