It’s quite easy – first, slide the bibo barmaid out of the box and discard all the packing materials as they may be a safety hazard for small children or pets. Next, place the appliance on the counter. The box includes the following: a Bibo appliance, 3 sample packs of cocktail mixes, the plug, a cocktail shaker and shot glass (all in one), and a plastic divider insert for multi pouch use. The is also an owner’s manual which we recommend you read. The drip tray is taped down to keep it safe during shipping, so please remove the tape and discard. Remove the items shipped in the water reservoir and rinse the reservoir before using. Plug the power cord snugly into the slot on the bottom of the machine. The engineers at Bibo tucked the plug insert under the machine so that the machine fits nicely up against your kitchen backsplash. Once the plug is in, lift the handle and remove the plastic black insert from the appliance. This insert is located inside the machine and allows for single pouch operation. Next, carefully insert the plastic divider piece, included with the contents of the box, into the slot to allow for dual pouch operation. With the addition of Bibo Liquor Pouches to our line, we have rounded off the process to ensure delicious drinks, every time and this divider pouch is necessary to be able to insert multiple pouches into the machine. Next, fill the water reservoir with cold water and insert it into the back of the appliance. It should slide gently into place. Turn the machine on and place a glass filled with 4-5 ice cubes onto the drip tray. Select a Bibo Cocktail Mix Pouch and the corresponding Bibo Liquor Pouch, (vodka, tequila, rum or whiskey), and insert the pouches into the machine. Insert the Bibo Cocktail Mix Pouch into the first slot, closest to you, with the arrow side facing down and the color code facing forward. The color code is the big square color on the pouch that contains a smart code which tells the machine which cocktail you have selected and the perfect amount of water to pull from the reservoir to make the perfect drink. Insert the Bibo Liquor Pouch into the second slot, with the Insert Pouch Arrow facing down. Pull the handle down and hit the Mix button. Wait 20 seconds for the drink to completely pour into the glass. Stir, garnish and enjoy! Cheers!
Bibo uses smart technology. There is a unique code on each pouch –the machine reads the code and then pours the precise amount of water to make a scientifically perfect drink, every time. Each pouch has a different code and the mixologists have come up with the delicious formulas. No measuring, no mess!
The water reservoir holds 32 oz. which makes about 8 drinks.

The Bibo dispenser uses a cutting blade that extends and retracts from the cutter housing into the bottom of the pouches. The proprietary design of the pouches allows for the liquid to evacuate fully. The cutting blade is very sharp. Please read all instruction labels to avoid any injury that could be caused by the cutting blade.
As comparison, it is about 25% smaller than a Keurig coffee brewer in width and about the same height, so it will fit easily under your counter. In addition, it is very light weight and can be picked up and stored in a cabinet quite easily. It was designed with the plug connector under the device; this allows the device to fit nice and snug up against the back wall freeing up kitchen counter space.
